Terms of Service

1. Who we are

supashot is operated as an independent product at supashot.com. Contact: [email protected]. For billing, taxes, invoicing and refunds the Merchant of Record is Creem Inc. – Creem is the legal seller of record for paid subscriptions and handles payment processing, tax calculation and collection, invoicing and refund processing. 2. What the Service does

supashot runs primarily in your browser. You can paste, upload or drag-and-drop a screenshot or screen recording, apply frames, styles, annotations and motion, and export images (PNG, WebP, JPG), GIFs, MP4s and ZIP batches. Your media, annotations and audio stay on your device (browser memory / IndexedDB) and are not uploaded to our servers, unless you create a share link: then only the finished export you choose to publish is stored on our object storage. Authentication and billing data are handled server-side via PostgreSQL and Creem.

3. Accounts

• You may use the editor without an account (Free plan, watermarked exports).
• To purchase or restore Pro you sign in with a verified email via a magic link. The link expires after 15 minutes, is one-time and is bound to the requesting browser.
• Your session lasts 30 days, is stored in an HttpOnly cookie and is revocable. You are responsible for keeping your email account secure.
• We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Subscriptions and billing

• supashot offers a Free plan and a paid Pro tier. New Pro purchases are currently one-time lifetime purchases. Existing subscriptions retain their billing terms and can be managed through the Customer Portal. Current prices and features are listed on the pricing page.
• Lifetime means access to Pro for the lifetime of the supashot service, with no recurring charges. Ending a limited offer does not end purchased access. A full refund or chargeback revokes access from that purchase.
• All paid transactions are processed by Creem Inc. as Merchant of Record. Prices are shown on the pricing page; applicable taxes (VAT/GST/sales tax) are calculated and collected at checkout by Creem. The final total is displayed before you pay.
• By subscribing you authorise Creem to charge your payment method on each billing cycle until you cancel.
• You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time via the Creem Customer Portal (linked from your account). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain Pro access until then.
• Refunds are handled per our Refund & Cancellation Policy and by Creem as Merchant of Record.

5. Your content & license to us

You retain all rights to screenshots, recordings, audio and annotation text you create. We do not claim ownership. Editing and exporting happen locally in your browser, and no server copy is created. When you create a share link, you grant us a limited licence to store the published export and show it to anyone who has the link, until the link expires or you delete it. You are responsible for having the right to publish what you share.

• Share links require an account and are unlisted, not private: anyone with the address can view the export.
• Free share links expire after 30 days; Pro share links stay until you delete them. Daily limits apply.
• You can delete your share links at any time from your account; deleting a link removes the stored export.
• We may remove a shared export and disable sharing for accounts that publish content breaking these Terms.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service to create, edit, export or distribute sexually explicit, pornographic, adult or otherwise NSFW content, including nudity or sexual material of any kind. Content that sexualises minors is strictly prohibited and will be reported to the relevant authorities.
• Use the Service to create or distribute unlawful, infringing, harassing, hateful, violent or deceptive content.
• Attempt to bypass access controls, interfere with the Service, scrape at scale, or reverse-engineer the export pipeline.
• Upload malicious files or attempt to compromise other users.
• Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with supashot.

These rules apply to all content you create or export with the Service, whether or not it is stored on our servers. If we become aware of a violation, we may suspend or terminate your account and access to Pro without refund.

7. Intellectual property

The Service, its design, code and built-in style presets are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may use the Service to create your own exports. You may not copy, resell or redistribute the Service itself without permission.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, or that exports will meet every specific requirement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from the Service is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the 12 months preceding the claim (or €50 if you have not paid). We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages.

10. Changes to the Service and Terms

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable at the operator’s principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising from the Service shall be subject to the competent courts there, unless mandatory consumer-protection rules provide otherwise.
